Hello, my name is Dayana Rowe and I am proud to be teaching at Bethany Christian School. I have been teaching for 9 years. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher since I was incredibly young. I always enjoy helping others learn and grow. I have a master’s degree in education from Ashford University. I love being a teacher! It makes me happy to see the joy in my student’s eyes when learning and achieving their goals each day. I create a classroom atmosphere that is welcoming and accessible; a place where my students feel comfortable coming to and where they know how to use the resources that are provided. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, jogging, and spending time with my family.
I believe that a classroom should be a safe, caring community where children are free to speak their minds and blossom and grow. The one thing that I constantly have focused on is the relationships that I have built with my students. I enjoy having conversations with them on subjects and issues that are important to them, and learning how they are feeling about and experiencing the world and the material that we are studying in class. I am grateful for the opportunity to teach and learn with your children each day.
