Mrs. Batson was born and raised in Merritt Island, Florida. She is a proud alumni of Merritt Island Christian School, Eastern Florida State, and UCF. She always wanted to teach in a Christian school.  She started her professional educational career in a small Christian school in Oklahoma. She then moved to the public school system where she felt God leading her for the next 10 years. Mrs. Batson then moved back to Florida and found Bethany Christian School where she has been since 2015. She has one daughter and son, who attend Bethany Christian School, and two older boys, 23 and 21. She holds a certification through the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS), our accreditation team. Proverbs 22:6 is one of her favorite verses.
