Mrs. Barnes was born in Taichung City, Taiwan, and moved to the United States when she was three years old. She grew up in a Christian family and is the oldest of two children. She met her husband at a Bible study.

Mrs. Barnes began teaching in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has a passion for helping young people reach their God-given goals. When she’s not teaching, she loves to read, relax, and play volleyball. She holds a teaching certificate from Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS), our accrediting agency.

One of her favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
