Biography
Mrs. Leika Grady was born and raised in Panama, Central America, and moved to the United States—“the greatest country in the world,” as she lovingly calls it—right after high school. In 2004, she met her husband, Irving, and the two were married in February 2007.
Although she once said she didn’t want to have children, God had other plans. Today, she and her husband are blessed with three children, all of whom attend Bethany Christian School. Their first child, born in 2011, changed their lives forever. They knew she was a gift from God and felt called to raise her according to His Word.
One day, Irving came home and shared that he had met someone who worked at BCS and invited them to take a tour. As soon as they walked through the preschool doors, they knew it was the right place for their daughter. Since then, they’ve even referred friends whose children now attend BCS as well.
BCS has continued to build upon the foundation of faith and learning that the Gradys established at home. In 2021, Mrs. Grady earned her A.S. in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Florida State College with the specific goal of joining the BCS team. Mrs. Grady also holds a teaching certificate from the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS), our accrediting agency. She believes the school is more than just a place of learning—it’s a ministry, faithfully established by God to support families and raise children to walk in His ways.
Her passion is to create a fun, nurturing, and safe environment where her students can grow academically and spiritually. As Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
