Mrs. Leika Grady was born and raised in Panama, Central America, and came to live in the U.S. (the greatest country in the world) right out of high school. In 2004, she met her husband, Irving, and married in February of 2007. She always said she didn’t want to have any children, but God had other plans for her and her husband. She now has three children, all attend Bethany Christian School. In 2011, they had their first child, who totally changed their lives. They understood that she was sent to them by God, and knew they needed to raise her in the ways of the Lord. One day, her husband came home and told her he met a lady that works at BCS and she invited them to tour the school. They booked a tour at the preschool and as soon as they walked through the doors, they knew that was the school for their precious daughter; (they referred a few friends, and their children now attend BCS).

Besides teaching general education, BCS has been building upon the foundation that they started at home. In 2021, Mrs. Grady graduated from Eastern Florida State College with an A.S. in Early Childhood Education with the sole purpose of coming to work at BCS. She believes that more than a school, this is a ministry that God has established to care for her children and raise them in the ways of the Lord. As parents, we are to train our children in the way they should go and when they are old, they will not turn from it (Proverbs 22:6). Her goal is to provide a fun, nurturing, and safe learning environment for her students where they can flourish in both scholastic and spiritual endeavors.
