Biography
Mrs. Bloodgood is a lifelong Florida resident who moved to Melbourne as an infant and has watched the community grow throughout her life. She came to know Christ as her Savior in 1975 and later received assurance of her salvation while studying Early Education at Hyles Anderson College in Indiana.
From a young age, Mrs. Bloodgood has served faithfully in church ministry, including many years in nursery and children's programs. When her son was diagnosed with ASD in 2009, she became deeply involved in the special needs community, leading a local multi-sensory establishment for five years before transitioning into Christian education.
Since 2018, Mrs. Bloodgood has worked in various roles within Christian schools and joined Bethany Christian School in 2024 to launch the Unique Abilities program with just six students. Under her leadership, the program has grown to serve 27 students for the 2025–2026 school year. She also serves as the director of Nathaniel’s Hope Buddy Break family respite program, a role she has held for 12 years. Mrs. Bloodgood is passionate about advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves and loves seeing her students thrive.
She is a widow and has one son who is a senior at Bethany Christian School for the 2025–2026 school year.
