Mrs. Carpenter was born in Indiana and moved to the Melbourne area as a teenager. She met her husband, Loyde, at Harris Semiconductor (Intersil/Renesas), where she worked for 19 years. After retiring from Intersil, she came to BCS in 2001 and taught off and on until 2017, now working part time in admissions. Her two oldest grandchildren graduated from BCS; her granddaughter is in our 3rd grade class and great grandson is in PK4 (VPK) at our pre-school. Her oldest son and daughter also attended BCS for a short time. She loves to read, spend time outdoors. Rosie believes family is important, but God is #1. Her life’s verse is Philippians 4:13.
