Biography

Mr. Schwanda grew up in Melbourne and attended Brevard (Bethany) Christian School from 1969–1972. He graduated from Melbourne High and received a B.S. in Business Administration from Rollins College, Patrick AFB branch, while working at Harris Corporation. After graduating, Mr. Schwanda moved to California, and there he met and married his wife, Sue, and they became parents of 3 boys. The family moved back to Melbourne in 2001, and their kids all attended and graduated from BCS. He has been a member of Bethany Ministries since 2005.

Mr. Schwanda has a background in Finance and Accounting, and has worked for companies in Silicon Valley and the Kennedy Space Center. He is responsible for the coordination of facilities projects at the school and has served in this role since 2023.
