Biography

Mrs. Alba Zapata was born and raised in Colombia. During her teenage years, her family moved to New York City. She later moved to Florida, where she continued her education and earned an Associate of Arts in Education from Miami Dade Community College.

Mrs. Zapata has taught in various children’s programs through church ministry and has always had a passion for teaching in a Christian school. She is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Western Governors University.

Mrs. Zapata is married and has three children. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve as a Kindergarten Teacher at Bethany Christian School and to help her students grow academically, spiritually, and in their love for God.
