Campus Safety & Security at BCS

We live in a world that requires us to be watchful and wise. At Bethany Christian School, we recognize the weight of caring for and protecting every student entrusted to us, and we take that responsibility to heart. Creating a safe environment isn’t just about policies or drills; it’s part of the calling God has placed on our school community.

Our full-time Director of Security brings years of law enforcement experience, including work in maximum-security environments. Her presence on campus each day reflects both vigilance and compassion, helping students, families, and staff feel confident and cared for. From daily patrols to real-time emergency response, our leadership is intentional about creating a peaceful and protected space.

BCS practices regular fire and lockdown drills to ensure our team and students are prepared. Our Director of Security also coordinates with local law enforcement agencies to strengthen our emergency response plans and conduct on-campus training.

We utilize the Rave Mobile Safety platform, allowing our staff to quickly alert law enforcement and emergency personnel if needed. This tool enhances our ability to act with speed and coordination in any situation.

Our entire staff is trained in emergency procedures and committed to cultivating a culture of safety, calm, and readiness. Your child’s well-being (physically, emotionally, and spiritually) is at the center of everything we do.
