Biography
Mr. Hughes is in his third year of teaching at BCS and his second year serving as Director of Spiritual Development, where he leads our weekly middle and high school chapel services. Before joining BCS, he spent over two decades as a successful entrepreneur, launching businesses across a variety of industries. His real-world experience brings a practical and relatable perspective to the classroom.
He and his wife, Mrs. Hughes—our Elementary Principal—are the proud parents of three daughters. Originally from California, they spent 13 years in Idaho before relocating to Florida in 2023. While in Idaho, Mr. Hughes served as a church elder and helped lead a new church plant.
His role at BCS reflects his deep passion for helping students connect biblical truth to their everyday lives. Outside of school, he enjoys Bible study, reading, playing golf, and traveling. Mr. Hughes holds a teaching certificate from the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS), our accrediting agency.
