Biography
Dr. Stephen Wynn was born in Savannah, GA, into a pastor’s home. As a teenager, he considered turning away from the Lord, but on March 1, 2001, during his school’s State Convention, the Holy Spirit gripped his heart and he experienced a genuine conversion that changed the course of his life.
He began serving in Christian education in 2003 and has taught, led, and founded schools throughout Georgia. After graduating from Columbus Baptist College with a B.A. in Church Ministries and Secondary Education, Dr. Wynn went on to earn two master’s degrees and a Ph.D. in Philosophy in Education from Bethany Divinity College and Seminary. His passion for Christian education is rooted in discipleship and soul-winning.
Dr. Wynn and his wife Karissa have been married since 2012 and are parents to four children. Three of their children attend Bethany Christian School, and one is a 2024 BCS graduate currently attending Eastern Florida University.
