Bethany Christian School high school graduation ceremony for Class of 2025, celebrating academic achievement and spiritual growth.

Equipping Students for College, Leadership, and Life

High school is a time of preparation for both the opportunities and responsibilities that lie ahead. At Bethany Christian School, students in Grades 9–12 are challenged to pursue academic excellence, deepen their faith, build leadership skills, and confidently prepare for college, career, and life. Through a Christ-centered foundation, students are equipped to lead, serve, and thrive wherever God calls them.

The High School Experience

At Bethany Christian School, the high school experience combines academic rigor, intentional spiritual formation, and leadership development — all built on a Christ-centered foundation designed to prepare students for the years ahead.

Core subjects are taught using BJU Press, a nationally respected Christian curriculum known for academic rigor and biblical integration. Bible classes use Positive Action for Christ and Summit Ministries to help students apply biblical truth to real-life situations and strengthen their personal faith.

Our Director of Spiritual Development works alongside teachers to guide spiritual growth across every subject and leads chapel services for middle and high school. In addition, our Student Pastor provides ongoing spiritual care, mentorship, and pastoral support for both students and staff.

Academic Excellence & College Preparation

The high school program at BCS is designed to prepare students for success beyond graduation. Our challenging curriculum develops critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills while maintaining a clear biblical worldview.

Students have the opportunity to take advanced courses through honors classes and dual enrollment, allowing them to earn college credit while still in high school. Academic competitions such as spelling bees, writing contests, and fine arts competitions give students additional ways to challenge themselves and grow.

Our college and career advising program helps students plan for the future, including guidance on scholarship opportunities, college applications, and entrance exams. Many of our students also qualify for membership in the National Honor Society, recognizing both academic achievement and Christian character.

Leadership Development

Leadership at Bethany Christian School is built on the foundation of biblical servant leadership. Students are challenged to develop Christlike character, influence others through service, and prepare to lead with integrity in college, career, and life.

Opportunities for leadership include roles in chapel, mentoring younger students, service projects, and participation in organizations such as the National Honor Society. These experiences help students strengthen their confidence, communication, and ability to make wise, faith-centered decisions as they approach adulthood.

Spiritual Formation & Biblical Worldview

At Bethany Christian School, spiritual growth remains central throughout high school as students are challenged to take ownership of their personal faith. Bible classes, chapel services, and daily classroom discussions are designed to help students think critically, apply biblical truth to real-life situations, and develop a strong foundation for college, career, and adulthood.

Students explore how their faith informs their decisions, relationships, and future calling. Through consistent biblical integration, mentorship, and intentional spiritual leadership, students graduate equipped to stand firm in their beliefs and live out their faith with confidence and purpose.
