What is SALT?

SALT — Serving and Learning Together is a school-wide initiative designed to unite faith, service, and stewardship. Through SALT, students learn that serving others and supporting their school go hand in hand. This program gives every student the opportunity to live out their faith in meaningful, hands-on ways while working together toward a shared goal.

Our Mission

SALT exists to teach students humility, generosity, and servant leadership — while strengthening our connection with the local community and supporting the growth and improvement of our school.

  • Teach humility, generosity, and servant leadership
  • Provide real-world opportunities to serve others in Jesus’ name
  • Strengthen our connection with the local community
  • Support the growth and improvement of our school

Serving the Community

Teachers are thoughtfully planning age-appropriate service projects for their classes so students can actively contribute to the community. Every grade level (K–12) will participate in at least one service project. A few examples are listed below.

  • Leaving campus to assist with manual labor, cleaning, or building projects
  • Serving the poor, elderly, or those in need within our community
  • Organizing and collecting donations to support local ministries or outreach efforts

Individual Incentives

Each level includes all rewards from the levels before it. As students raise more, they continue earning every incentive along the way.
