Ms. Northwood was born in Tyler, Texas, where she grew up. She later moved to Jacksonville, FL, and then relocated to Melbourne. She is the proud parent of an adult daughter who lives in Virginia. Ms. Northwood is an alumna of Lon Morris College, Liberty University, and Liberty University Seminary. She is a proud veteran of both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army. She has volunteered in the Children’s Ministry and special needs departments of churches where she lived for many years.

In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with the Girl Scouts, her church, and other nonprofits. She also enjoys writing, spending time with her service dog and family, being outdoors, and camping.

Her life verses are Philippians 4:13: ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,’

and

Matthew 20:28: ‘Be like the Son of Man. He did not come to be served. Instead, he came to serve others.’
