Mrs. Touchston was born on an Air Force Base in England and spent her early childhood moving to various bases before her family settled in Hawaii, where they lived for 25 years. She earned a B.A. in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Baptist University and has taken numerous courses in vocal music. She holds a certification from the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS), our accrediting body.

Mrs. Touchston became a Christian at age 11. Later, in 1982, she married her husband, Bob. Together, they have five adult children and several grandchildren. She homeschooled her children through high school, with only a few years spent in public school. Since 2003, Mrs. Touchston has been teaching in Christian schools and has been a valued member of Bethany Christian School since 2005.

Her life verses are Romans 8:38-39 – “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
