Mrs. Batson was born and raised in Merritt Island, Florida. She is a proud alumna of Merritt Island Christian School, Eastern Florida State College, and the University of Central Florida. Teaching in a Christian school has always been her dream. She began her professional educational career at a small Christian school in Oklahoma. Later, she transitioned to the public school system, where she felt God led her for the next ten years. In 2015, Mrs. Batson returned to Florida and joined Bethany Christian School. She has one daughter and one son who attend Bethany Christian School, along with two adult sons. Mrs. Batson holds a teaching certificate from the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS), our accrediting agency.

Her life verse is II Timothy 3:16-17: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
