Biography

Mrs. Rosaria “Rose” Mazzella was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She met her husband while they were both working at the Post Office in Manhattan, and they later moved to the Bronx. Her family eventually relocated to Palm Bay, Florida, where she continued her studies and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from Eastern Florida State College. Mrs. Mazzella has taught special needs students at Port Malabar Elementary and Parkhurst Academy.

She has also worked in the children’s ministry at Eau Gallie First Baptist Church and currently leads an adoptive support group at Centerpointe Church in Palm Bay. She has two grown children and has adopted five children from foster care. Her passion has always been to teach special needs children and provide a safe place for trauma-informed children. She feels extremely blessed and has been working in her career since 2006.

Her life verse is Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
